At 15 years old surfing came into my life and I immediately fell in love with it. Since then this amazing pastime has taken me to places and put me in situations that have shaped every last part of me and I’m eternally grateful for all the experiences surfing has provided. I truly believe that the decision I made to lead a life with the fun act of riding waves at its core has led to one that’s been well lived!
Ægir Collective is born out of this passion
The project started life in 2016 when after 27 years away I found myself living and surfing back in my home county of Lincolnshire and decided it would be fun to chronicle the experience in a blog. With the help of my incredibly creative and supportive partner we set about it and before long it had grown into something we were both proud of. The short movie ‘Return to Yellow’ came from the footage we shot during this period and it eventually went on to be selected for the longlist of the London Surf Film Festival shorties category.
Quality plus Creativity at it’s core
As is the way with passion projects Ægir Collective has moved on and evolved since those early days. With an online store in place we’ve now branched out to produce an artwork and clothing range and have plans to develop what has now become our ‘brand’ even further in the future. Whatever comes along for us our aim will always remain the same though. To ensure everything we produce has quality plus creativity at its core and helps to inspire you to get ‘out there’ and enjoy the big outdoors.
