Lincolnshire Surfing at its best

History

Ægir Collective started life in 2016 when after 27 years away owner Martin Rawlinson found himself living and surfing back in his home county of Lincolnshire, UK and decided it would be fun to chronicle his experience through movies and blogs. With the help of his incredibly creative and supportive partner they set about it and before long it started attracting a lot of positive feedback and encouragement from across the UK surfing community.

Driven by that community Ægir Collective organically evolved to produce surfing prints and t-shirts that celebrate, inspire and bring our surfing tribe together. Quality, creativity and pride is what the collective has and will always continue to be about.

They say that following your passion is the key to happiness, fulfilment and personal growth.

At 15 years old surfing came into my life and I immediately fell in love with it. Since then this amazing pastime has taken me to places and put me in situations that have shaped every last part of me and I’m eternally grateful for all the experiences surfing has provided. I truly believe that the decision I made to lead a life with the fun act of riding waves at its core has led to one that’s been well lived.

Ægir Collective is  my brand and is born from this passion. It aims to reflect the sense of pride that I’ve always had from been a UK surfer and bring together a very special community. Even though UK surfing has exploded the last couple of decades at our core we are still a bunch of coldwater souls living on the fringes of society, the Ægir Collective.

Remember right now I’m out there living this with you
