The mythological norse sea giant who was associated with the ocean

Characteristic of a group of individuals taken together

Due to their intertwined history the Scandinavian influence of the Vikings runs deep in the English county of Lincolnshire.

Both areas border a cold unruly chunk of water called the North Sea where over the decades the Viking ocean going spirit has been taken up in the form of an ever growing band of surfers. Like their Scandinavian brethren Lincolnshire surfers are hardy individuals who are not afraid to brave the sometimes extreme conditions to fuel their wave riding stoke.

Ægir Collective chronicles the past, present & future of this Lincolnshire surfing scene. It showcases some of the sessions that go down in the counties waters and also shares the stories of some of the characters that have over the years graced its waves.
